Information about the actual amount of increase is communicated to you before the increase takes effect, but it can be complex. If you have a question about increases to your pension in payment, ask the Scheme administrator.
If you were a member of the frontline Water or Wastewater teams, you can enrol to our business resilience team to support the business in case of an emergency eg pollution events, major water supply bursts or become a site ranger. You’ll receive regular training so you’re competent and confident to step into these roles when the time comes.
If you’d like to be part of this team, please email NWLtraining@nwl.co.uk for more information. We’ll review this on an annual basis and give you the opportunity to stay opted in or to opt out of this team.
Our associations provide a social calendar of activities and events, from day trips to summer and Christmas lunches. Whether you’re in the North or South of England, we have an opportunity for you to make new friends and catch up with old colleagues:
You can view your monthly payslip on the PRISM member portal. The Scheme administrator normally issues payslips in February/March including information about any increases to be made in April and when P60s are issued.
To report the death of an NWPS member, please contact the Scheme administrator (they may ask for details of the next of kin or executor so please have these to hand if possible).
It’s important to tell us if you have moved house, got married or have a long term partner to help us make sure we can pay your benefits promptly. You can check and update your details by visiting the PRISM member portal or contacting the Scheme administrator.
